REGIONAL COUNCILS CONTINUE TO SUPPORT AGTECH INNOVATION IN WA

AgTech has become an essential component of successful agricultural businesses, enabling WA enterprises to operate and compete in an increasingly fast-paced, global marketplace. Farmers in Australia, and particularly WA, are operating in a unique environment of continual innovation, as the WA agriculture and food sector continues to be the lifeblood of rural and regional communities.

This year, TECHSPO will be bringing technology developers, farmers, advisors, expert researchers and officials together for two days of advanced agriculture technology, information sharing and collaboration, and regional councils continue to throw their support behind the growth of AgTech innovation in the state through their support and sponsorship of the conference.

Southern Dirt’s TECHSPO is Western Australia’s premier technology and innovation event for the Agricultural community and associated industries, but would not be possible without the sponsorship and support of the Shire of Wagin, the Shire of Kojonup  and the Shire of Katanning. Their continuing support of the TECHSPO indicates their strong commitment to continued growth and investment in our regional areas, founded on innovation and investment.

Phil Blight, Wagin Shire President, reiterates that events like TECHSPO are increasingly important for WA.  “Wagin Shire Council is excited to support Southern Dirt in attracting the best in AgTech to our region. It’s important for our Shire, and for Western Australia, that we continue to promote agricultural innovation, efficiency and leadership. TECHSPO is a great way to support agriculture in the region and bring national attention to WA’s drive to shape the future of farming.”

Don’t miss your opportunity to be part of WA’s premier agricultural technology and innovation event.
